Avenge!

“Avenge!”

“Never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written: ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord” (Rom 12:19). ♥️🙏🏾 Almighty God, help me not to think of avenging myself, but instead to: “Love my enemies, do good to those who hate me, bless those who curse me, and pray for those who mistreat me” (Lk 6:27–28). Let me never forget: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn” (Isa 54:17). O LORD, oppose those who oppose me. Fight those who fight against me (Psa 35:1). Almighty God, give me the faith to stand firm against my enemies, knowing that the battle is already won—because your Word declares: “Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” says the Lord (Rom 12:19).
