“Be Quiet!”

Blind Bartimaeus sat by the roadside, begging. When he heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by, he shouted:

“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many told him to be quiet—but he shouted all the more” Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped.

The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you” (Mk 10:46–52). ♥️🙏🏾 Bartimaeus came to Christ spiritually seeing—and left physically whole!

Don’t let the world silence you into thinking that Jesus can’t remove the blinding chaos from your life. Jesus removed Bartimaeus’s blindness, giving him not only sight, but also the light of salvation. “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Prv 23:7). Lord Jesus, you have the awesome power to do all things—but fail!
