Crafty!

“Crafty!”

“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, ‘Did God really say, “You must not eat of a tree in the garden” (Gen 3:1)? ♥️🙏🏾 “God saw everything that He had made, and it was very good” (Gen 1:31), “…as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ” (2 Cor 11:3). We must keep our minds on Him and he will keep us in perfect peace (Isa 26:28). Lord Jesus, my desire is not to live in my own strength, but to live soberly and godly—rejecting the crafty lies of the serpent, who represents the lust of the world—and to grow in and live by Your truth: the truth that brings light out of darkness, strength out of weakness, and peace amidst confusion.
