Egyptian!

“Egyptian!”

The daughters of the priest of Midian said to their father,

“An Egyptian rescued us from the hand of the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock” (Ex 2:19 ). ♥️🙏🏾 “So where is he?” their father asked. “Invite him to come and share a meal” (Ex 2:20). Moses, mistaken for an Egyptian served with humility, quietly doing the work before him by watering the flock. Though he was often seen as an outsider, God was always shaping him! In his hidden seasons, Moses learned to listen for God’s voice, to speak with God in honesty, and to rely fully on God’s presence. Even when misunderstood, God was near. Even in exile, God was at work. All-wise and faithful God,

grant me peace of mind and ears attentive to Your voice.

Teach me to trust You in places of uncertainty and waiting.

For You alone bring rest from labor, hope from chaos, and goodness from what seems broken.
