Fervent!

“Fervent!”

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (Ja 5:16) ♥️🙏🏾 In Acts 3:1–6, a man lame from birth asked Peter and John for money. But Peter said, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. “Peter had gone from hiding to abiding in our Lord’s Word. Jesus reminds us in John 15:7, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.” When we abide in Christ, our prayers become powerful and effective. They are no longer routine words, but fervent petitions filled with faith, authority, and expectation.

Let us pray: Almighty God, thank You for fresh wind and fresh fire. Let all my prayers be fervent as I abide in Your good and precious promises (2 Pt 1:4). Strengthen my faith, so that I can ask boldly and trust You fully.
