Forgive”

“Forgive”

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Lk 23:34). ♥️🙏🏾 “…love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Mt 5:44). The centurion standing at the cross praised God, saying, “Certainly this man was innocent!” And the crowds returned home beating their breasts (Lk 23:47–48). We too, are like the centurion and the crowd — carrying anger and brokenness, yet longing to be loved and forgiven. Many live by “an eye for an eye,” yet Christ calls us to a life rooted in grace, mercy, and love.

Lord Jesus, strengthen me so that I may open my heart to Your transforming power of forgiveness — even toward those who wrong me. Teach me to forgive, releasing the pain within, so that I may find hope, wholeness, and healing in Your unconditional love.
