Formed!

“Formed!”

“God formed man out of dirt from the ground…” (Gen. 2:7 MSG). ♥️🙏🏾 God made man from the dirt into a living, feeling, thinking, breathing, moving, and touching being. God’s Word is powerful, but His touch brought life to dirt.

Don’t forget — Jesus’ touch healed Peter’s mother-in-law, Jairus’ daughter, two blind men, and a paralytic carried by his friends. He even allowed a woman with an issue of blood to touch Him, because He knew she would be healed. Untouched babies die, and untouched people die inside — becoming cold, mean, and manipulative. Almighty God, give Your people the gift of compassionate touch: that encourages others to enjoy life, lifting their heads and hands in grace, actively bestowing benevolence on others, strengthening love, while touching the unlovable.
