Hiding from God.

“…they heard…Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from…the Lord God among the trees of the garden" (Gen 3:8).♥️ 🙏🏾 Adam and his wife sinned. Instead of gaining the supreme wisdom promised by the serpent, they found the shame of their nakedness. Even though God reached out in the cool of the evening to commune with them, they chose to hide from the all-wise Creator.

Scripture says, "There is no darkness... where the workers of iniquity can hide" (Job 34:22). Lord, let Your goodness and mercy follow me today. May my heart be aligned with Your Word, and let this truth be my portion: "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" (Phi 2:5).
