”Humble!”

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” (1 Pt 5:6). ♥️🙏 Remember Job, a man of great humility. “Then said Job’s wife unto him, ‘Dost thou still retain thine integrity? Curse God and die.’ But he said unto her, ‘Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?’ In all this did not Job sin with his lips” (Job 2:9–10). Job never gave into unbelief or doubted God’s power, love, or faithfulness—even as his health was touched by severe adversity. He remained humble before the Lord, never bitter or angry, nor seeking selfish attention or gain. When we face adversity with honesty and humility, we remain open and ready to receive God’s blessings.
