My Father’s Business

My Father’s Business

At twelve years old, Jesus was found in the temple, saying, "Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" (Lk 2:49). Yet, from ages 13 to 30, He lived quietly as a carpenter's son; totally dependent upon lessons from the throne. As He later declared, "The Son can only do what he has seen the Father do" (Jn 5:19). Christ wants us to live in that same total dependence upon Him, our resurrected Savior! In Him, He teaches us lessons of great grace, love, mercy, strength, faith, favor, and impossibility thinking! Never forget, nothing is too hard for our Lord!
