Oil!

“Oil!”

“…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning…” (Isa 61:3). ♥️🙏🏾 A wife cried out to Elisha: “My husband is dead, and now the creditors are coming to take my two sons as slaves." Elisha replied, "How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?" She answered, "Your servant has nothing there at all… except a small jar of olive oil." Elisha said, "Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few. Then go inside, shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour oil into all the jars. When each is filled, put it to one side. "She did as he said. The oil kept flowing until every jar was full. She sold the oil and paid her debts. (2 Kings 4:1–7) Let me never forget, that God gives the oil of gladness to his people, “… knowing that God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ” ( Phi 4: 19).
