Peace!

“Peace!”

“Jesus awoke, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace! Be still!’ And a great calm followed.” (Mk 4:39)

♥️🙏🏾 Jesus spoke to the wind and the sea, Peace! Be still! — and it was so. After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples while they were hiding behind locked doors. He stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” (Jn 20:19)

The words of Jesus became a blanket of peace — thick, palpable, and powerful — so powerful that His disciples could not fear. Christ the Redeemer, the Savior, the Peacemaker, stood in their midst, and His presence drove fear away. Lord Jesus, with all that is happening in the world, in our country, and in our lives, let Your living peace descend upon us today. Keep us steady. Make us fearless. Make us complete.

Help us stand in Your peace — moving forward in faith, not backward in fear.
