Re-dig!

“Re-dig!”

“Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up with dirt after Abraham died” (Gen 26:18). ♥️🙏🏾

Father God blessed Isaac because of his obedience. He re-dug his father’s old wells, which had been stopped up by his enemy. Those old wells still flowed with the life-giving water needed for Isaac and his family's survival.

Father God often requires us to re-examine our faith through acts of obedience.

Lord, give me an obedient heart, a hearing ear, and a spirit open to Your holiness and instructions! Lord, I pray for the faith, courage, and stamina to re-dig the wells of holiness, hope, love, and faith in my own life.
