Sat!

“Sat!”

“Her sister Mary sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what He taught” (Luke 10:39). ♥️ Martha was upset that Mary wasn’t helping with the chores. Martha, like so many of us, had a 50-hour day—full and overwhelming leaving her exhausted! I have one question—for myself and for you: Did you commit the day to our Lord, Jesus, before you started it?

Did you ask Him what He wanted you to do with your day?

And did you wait long enough to hear His response?

If you’re anything like me, you probably started running and only sat at the Master’s feet once you were worn out—asking for direction.

And, He lovingly asks me, “Where have you been?” Jesus told Martha, “Mary has chosen the good portion, and it will not be taken away from her” (Lk10:42).

So I ask you this morning:

Where’s your seat?
