“Solitary!”

Jesus, waking early in the morning while it was still dark, went to a solitary place to pray” (Mk 1:35). ♥️🙏🏾 Know that, solitary time with the Father is stress-relieving, reducing, and soul-refreshing. It is our time to be with Him — no need to share His attention. “Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed” (Lk 5:16). Jesus said, “My Father and I are one” (Jn 10:30). Even though the Son of God knew the Father’s eternal essence, He still sought solitary places to commune with Him!

Almighty God, help me daily find a solitary place to be with You, hear from You, and eat the true bread of life, which guides and nourishes the soul.
