Swaddling!
“Swaddling!”
“She brought forth her firstborn Son, wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn” (Lk 2:7). ♥️🙏🏾 Shepherds, said to one another, “Let us go to Bethlehem…” They found the Child, spread the news about Him to everyone, and then returned to their fields, glorifying and praising God (Lk 2:13–20). Shepherds wrapped newborn lambs in swaddling clothes to keep them perfect for sacrifice. These shepherds saw the perfect Lamb of God, Jesus, wrapped in swaddling clothes. Jesus, fill my heart, my mind, and my mouth with Your love, and let me not be ashamed of being old-fashioned. Lord, teach me to love — a love that surpasses all understanding (Ephesians 3:18–19).
