Commit!

"Commit!”

“Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit!" (Lk 23:46) ♥️🙏🏾 David also wrote, “Into Your hands I commit my spirit; deliver me, LORD, my faithful God” (Ps 31:5).

Christ echoes this same total trust in Father God, knowing that our Heavenly Father can safely keep us and everything we commit to Him.

Christ “…bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness” (1 Pt 2:24).

Holy Spirit, today I commit to You my fears and any faithlessness I have held onto, along with every concern for others and myself. Lord, help me to live a committed life of holiness — redeemed from sin and walking according to Your righteousness.
