Leaves!

“Leaves!”

“Jesus was on His way back to the city, and He was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went to it but found nothing except leaves. Then He said to it, ‘May you never bear fruit again!’ Immediately the tree withered” (Mt 21:18–19). ♥️🙏🏾

Lord, let me not be like the high priest—never recognizing Christ, the Messiah. He was like the fig tree: full of leaves but bearing no fruit, only fit for the fire (Luke 3:9). May my life speak with fruit, let me, “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Pt 3:18). And may the fruits of faithfulness and love for my Savior, Jesus the Christ, abide in me and be evident in all that I do! “For those who know their God will do exploits” (Da 11:32).
