Authority!

“Authority!”

A centurion said, “Lord, my servant lies at home paralyzed…” Jesus replied, “Shall I come and heal him?” The centurion answered, “…Just say the word, and my servant will be healed” (Mt 8:5–9). ♥️🙏🏾 The centurion understood that Christ was under the authority of the all-knowing, all-powerful, unseen God—the God of all authority. Jesus “did nothing by himself, but only what he saw the Father doing” (Jn  5:19). Lord Jesus, may I always remain under Your authority and in Your presence. My confidence, faith, and strength come only through Your divine authority—with the one and only wise God.
