Unclean!

“Unclean!”

An angel told Samson’s mother:
“You will become pregnant and have a son. Drink no wine or fermented drink, and do not eat anything unclean, for the boy will be a Nazirite dedicated to God from the womb until the day of his death” (Jd 13:7) ♥️🙏🏾 As an adult, Samson ate honey from the carcass of a lion and gave some to his parents, violating the Nazirite vow placed on his life (Jf14:5–6). Samson disregarded the vow on his life, making him unstable and double-minded. “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways” (Ja 1:8). Lord, purge me of double-mindedness, fear, faithlessness, doubt or arrogance that might arise within me, when confronted by Your  truths. Lord, help me keep my mind stayed on Jesus!
