Love!

“Love!”

"Love never fails” (1 Cor 13:1). 🙏🏾♥️ The Lord said to Abraham: "Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of” (Gen 22:2). Abraham had to examine his love for Isaac versus his love for the Father. This is the first mention of love in the Bible. When God saw Abraham’s faith, obedience, and willingness to sacrifice his son Isaac, the Lord provided “a ram caught in a thicket by his horns” (Gen 22:13). Lord Jesus, my Redeemer, the ultimate sacrifice—the Son of Father God. Grant me to know you more and grant that I be filled over flowingly with Your love.
