“Did Evil!”

“…the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord, and they were delivered …into the hands of the Philistines for forty year (Ju13:1). ♥️🙏🏾 Samson said to his father and mother, “I have seen a Philistine woman in Timnah; now get her for me as my wife.” His parents replied, “Isn’t there an acceptable woman among your relatives or among all our people? Must you go to the uncircumcised Philistines to get a wife?” (Ju 14:1-3). Samson did evil—he was involved with three Philistine women. He was strong in strength, prideful, self-willed, disobedient, and weakened by lust. In the end, he became blind and bound by his own weaknesses. Heavenly Father, may Your Word reign supreme, quickening my soul and occupying the throne of my heart.
