Old Self!

“Old Self!”

"Put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires." (Ephesians 4:22) ♥️🙏🏾 We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, the rulers of darkness, and spiritual, wickedness in high places (Eph 6:13). Our “old selves” reflect the world. We hate because we learn hate. We get drunk because we learn to drink.

We reject God and ourselves because we learn rejection. We hold on to fear, anger, sadness, self-pity, and sarcasm—because of fear. Apostle Paul tells us: I pray that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people (Eph 1:18). Lord Jesus, thank You for redeeming me, rewriting my story, and making me new. I am no longer chained to fear. I am a child of God!
