“The World!”

“For everyone born of God overcomes the world” (1 Jn 5:4–5). ♥️🙏🏾 "...the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life — is not of the Father but is of the world” (1 Jn 2:16). This has been the battle from the beginning. Eve “the woman saw… that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise” (Gen 3:6). "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (Jn 16:33).

Know this: overcoming the world is not just a promise; it is the victory for those who believe by faith.

Lord Jesus, the battle has already been won. You have done the impossible. The world does not govern my life—you do!
