“Words!”

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” (Ps. 19:14) ♥️🙏🏾 Almighty God, let my words and my meditations be pleasing to You. Let my words come straight from my heart, free from lust, anger, greed, pity, or selfishness. Lord, make my heart a fertile ground for Your love, for “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Mt. 12:34).

Lord, place a guard over my lips and a watch over my tongue. Purify my thoughts so that my meditations may rise to You like a sweet offering. Holy Spirit, fill my heart so full of Your words of love that there is no room for anything else within me.
